What happens when you get free rein to design a residential villa spread across three levels on the outskirts of Bengaluru? The result is this apartment that we painstakingly put together for a family of four, including a couple and their two children. 

 

Displaying a linear pattern on the ground floor, the living and dining sections are partitioned by a staircase, but united by their colour scheme, vaulted ceiling, and wooden wall rafters, mirroring the design on both sides. The use of neutral shades of sage and sepia in the decor is contrasted by accents of black that are visible in artwork and curios as well as furniture and lighting pieces.
